Humana Clinical Strategy and Practice Professional - Care Delivery Operation in Lancaster, South Carolina

Description

Assist the Senior nurse Clinical Strategy and Practice role in site selection of emerging markets through the analysis of healthcare data, identification of target patient population, and ground up development within identified emerging markets. The Clinical Strategy and Practice Professional builds strategies for development, engagement, best clinical practices and processes for clinical community within the enterprise. The Clinical Strategy and Practice Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Strategy and Practice Professional understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent healthcare operations or clinical experience

  • Experience in clinical operations of healthcare organization including but not limited to: interpretation of healthcare analytics and defining demographics of the senior population, market expansion in relation to healthcare organizations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with other teams (real estate, training, construction, finance

  • Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)

  • Positive and professional demeanor at all times.

  • Prior experience with delivery of presentation to all levels of leadership

  • Ability to travel at least 50%

  • Microsoft office proficiency.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision making with minimal supervision
