Acara Solutions Material Handler in Lancaster, New York

Acara Solutionsis seeking a reliable Material Handler for a manufacturing company in Lancaster, NY.

Start date: 4/5/21
Job Type: Contract to Direct
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: First Shift (flexible)

In this role, we are seeking a candidate to work in a manufacturing environment to handle products in the rubber molding division.

We are seeking candidates who have basic industrial math skills and the desire to grow and learn with a very successful company who offers profit sharing, great health care options and opportunity for growth!

Understanding and following instructions with a variety of materials.
Experienced math knowledge is a must, includes converting measurements, using tape measures etc.
Be able to assist within the various work centers of the Molding Department when personnel shortages or extreme workloads dictate.
Once trained, be able to identify and diagnose various molded rubber defects.
Maintaining a professional and constructive approach to managing human and other resources of our client at all times.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
Must have at least a GED or High School Diploma
Must have at least one year experience working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Successful candidates may have a background in machine operating, assembly, or from schooling.
This position requires the following skills including but not limited to:
time management, interpersonal, communication, delegation, prioritizing, scheduling, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
