Sutter Health Manager, Facilities in Lakeport, California
To provide leadership and vision for staff in the delivery of services for the Support Service Facilities Program within Sutter Lakeside Hospital. This position will handle the non-patient and technical areas of Sutter Lakeside which includes plant operations and maintenance, and coordination of other programs as assigned. Coordinates staff development to include: recruiting, hiring, retaining, orienting, training and evaluating departmental personnel, including issuing corrective actions as appropriate. Participate on department/hospital committees and teams to develop and implement short and long term goals for the department individually, and for the hospital as a whole. Document plans, actions, implementation and results in meeting minutes and/or scheduled report.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred
Minimum five years management and / or supervisory experience of technically skilled staff is required with at least two years in the health care industry being preferred
Knowledge of personnel policies and demonstrated skill in personnel management and development (teaching, coaching, mentoring)
Healthcare physical plant operations including Hi-Pressure Systems; Administrative and leadership abilities in the area of physical plant operations
Ability to execute verbal and written communications effectively
Requires critical thinking and ability to solve problems
Requires organizational and planning skills
