Job Summary:

ACT I is currently seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to support engineering and technical support services associated with the acquisition, design, development, fielding, and sustainment in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst Support Equipment (SE) Department.

As the Engineer Technician, you will assist efforts related to the pertinent principles, methods, and techniques of electrical/electronic/ mechanical/logistics disciplines.

  • Will assist with information research, correlation, and interpretation of technical data.

  • Will assist with the presentation of various technical documents to include, but limited to:

  • Reports

  • Technical manuals

  • Purchase description

  • Mechanical assemblies

  • Electrical wiring assemblies

Experience and Education

  • A high school diploma is required

  • Must have at least six (6) years’ experience in aircraft weapon systems SE, ATE and/or TPS.

  • Previous Military/DoD experience is preferred

  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of pertinent principles, methods, and techniques of electrical/electronic/ mechanical/logistics disciplines.

  • Must have demonstrated experience in performing tasks with minimum supervision

  • Must have the ability to perform detailed information research, correlation and interpretation of technical data, and presentation of various technical documents (reports, technical manuals, purchase description, etc.), or mechanical design, or electrical wiring.
