SAI Infusion Technologies Inventory/Quality Control Specialist in Lake Villa, Illinois

This job was posted by : For more information, please see: As a SAI Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for Inventory Control, Receiving, Quality Control (QC), while ensuring all processes/SOPs are followed, as assigned, with focus on quality, efficiency, organization, reliability and accuracy. Previous experience in inventory control, Receiving, QC, and working with small hand tools or small parts, along with good manual dexterity is required to be successful. Proactive problem solver with excellent time management and organizational skills will help you to succeed in this position.Other duties include attention to detail for all product being produced/handled, cleanliness, while exemplifying strong interpersonal, communication, superior time management, and problem-solving skills.Summary of what job entails Intern to do:1. Responsible for accurately pulling parts and materials for orders on tickets for product making as requested by Production Supervisor or Designee.2. Responsible for providing regular, accurate, inventory reports as required.3. Responsible for maintaining inventory minimums and maximums, and evaluation thereof when parts are pulled and/or counted.4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies.5. Responsible for accurate quarterly cycle inventory counts.6. Regulatory conducts analysis to forecast potential inventory issues.7. Collaborates with Management to follow implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.8. Assumes responsibility for all processes that include receiving products: quality, inspection of products (returns, damaged product), packs slip management, product labeling, product/record keeping, and accuracy/completeness.9. Identify damaged, lost, or missing products and notifies Management immediately.10. Responsible for all quality control processes that include incoming parts and materials used in Production areas.11. Performs QC testing for all incoming parts and materials based on SOPs, Policies and Material Specification Document (MSD).12. Responsible for checking parts received to ensure QC consistency and integrity with raw material inspections, using the MSD.13. Responsible for updating and maintaining MSD as appropriate, and/or indicated by Supervisor.14. Immediately notifies Supervisor/Managers of any materials that are not up to quality standards.15. Supports the Quality Management Team (QMT), and Quality programs.16. May cross train and/or designate other employees to perform above tasks in the inventory /QC responsibilities as needed.
