Our Lady of Lourdes operates Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital, a premier 32-bed cardiac facility and Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s & Children’s Hospital offering the area’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level 3 Surgical Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. The Clinical Associate assists with patient bathing, feeding, and preparation for treatment, takes and records vital signs, changes bed linen, prepares treatment trays and other supplies, and assists nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties that they have verified competencies in. Relies on establish guidelines to accomplish tasks. Works under close supervision of the nurse.
Education required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of CNA or MA program
Required for position Completion of an CNA training program and successfully complete Our Lady of Lourdes Clinical Associate Program
Communication and Customer Service Skills; Computer Skills
Current CNA Certification by Louisiana board and Heart saver Certification
