JOB REQUIREMENTS: Director of Customer Experience & Visual Merchandising Location: Kohler, WI Opportunity Under the direction of the VP-Marketing, KBNA, this position leads the evaluation of customer experience, while defining and creating the overall customer experience, designing customer interfaces and customer-related processes, and contributing to overall process design. The position will manage the strategy involved in the customer journey as they interact with Kohler digitally and in physical locations. This position will create and implement a visual merchandising strategy that is in line with the brand, products and target market. The position will champion the development of the brand vision that aligns with brand communications and advertising pertaining to all marketing initiatives. The position will oversee the creation of all in-store merchandising and POP and ensure all customer interactions with the brand are consistently executed. Specific Responsibilities Customer Experience: * Provide thought leadership, customer research strategy, and oversight for best practice methods and tools that enable strategic insight into customer segments, trends, needs, and expectations. * Provide strategic leadership in integrating customer perspective and navigation across lines of business or business functions through touchpoints throughout the customer journey. * Create and present Kohler brand presentations to various external groups including Premier Showroom associates, Kohler Experience customers, Distributor Conference presentations, and various other external customer groups. * Develop curriculum on how to reach consumers more effectively through various stages of the purchase cycle. * Use brand awareness and brand power as a metric for monitoring and actioning upon consumer segmentation, brand presentation and messaging. Visual Merchandising: * Responsible for the consistency and clarity of the Kohler brand wherever it is seen. This includes the development of merchandising that is created for all our direct and secondary customers as well as end consumers. * Manage the design of a comprehensive merchandising and POP communications strategy for all Kohler Brand channels and products Wholesale, Retail, Builder, and Showrooms. Ensures that clear, consistent messages are communicated through all distribution channels to the end consumer. * Develops and designs new merchandising and point of purchase initiatives for all marketing channels (Wholesale, Retail, Builder, Showroom, CRM). * Working in conjunction with Product Marketing, Channel Marketing and Communications, oversees the design of all trade shows for the Kohler Brand (Fixtures and Faucets). Skills/Requirements * Four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. * Master's degree preferred. * 5 years minimum experience with visual merchandising strategy. * Requires a strategic thinker, energetic, self-motivated individual. * Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage across departments are essential. * Must have a customer service orientation.
