Google Product Marketing Lead, Data Analytics, Google Cloud in Kirkland, Washington

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 7 years of relevant product marketing experience

  • 2 years of experience working with database technologies and cloud solutions

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience bringing innovative technology products to market

  • Ability to keep up with industry trends and focus on the data analytics landscape to discover the market landscape and which innovations are coming next

  • Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Demonstrated product marketing abilities that propel adoption and market momentum

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure. The Cloud Marketing team is looking for people who can help us write and tell the story of our customer's journey. Understanding the power of our products and how they impact businesses, you will help share how we provide our customers with the best solutions for innovation. As a part of the Product Marketing team for Data Analytics at Google Cloud, you’ll work on products like BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Dataflow, and solutions such as Customer Data Platforms, Streaming Analytics, and Augmented BI. You’ll be responsible for aspects of go-to-market, own messaging and positioning for your solutions, and orchestrate marketing execution across campaigns, social media, customer programs, and sales enablement.

In this role, you’ll drive marketing programs for Data Analytics offerings, specifically around solutions for cloud migration and modernization..

  • Develop messaging and marketing initiatives that align with the different types of buyers/users of our cloud products and solutions (e.g., Chief Information Officers, business customer, developers, etc.)

  • Work with the product teams to promote launches and ensure current and new products are positioned effectively in the market

  • Build out successful go-to-market tactics (e.g., videos, industry research collateral, e-books, blogs, and reference promoting)

  • Partner with other marketing teams (e.g., campaigns, demand generation, field teams, and events) to drive and execute on global marketing initiatives
