Specific Systems Engineering responsibilities of this role include being responsible for a team who develops engineering baseline artifacts that capture customer needs/wants for flow-down to development teams - including requirements, capability/feature roadmaps and systems architecture products.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance required for this role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior L-coded leadership experience

• In depth knowledge and experience with application of Model-based Engineering

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with systems engineering activities on real-time systems

• Proven leadership experience in engineering assignments and successful proven results in leading and executing large, multi discipline programs

• Experience managing, leading and developing baseline documentation that demonstrates full knowledge of System Engineering principles and practices

• Strong and proven understanding of Engineering development processes

• Systems Definition/ Agile Systems Definition

• Requirements Management/Verification

• Interface Management

• Architecture documentation using standard DoDAF products

• Integration & Test Plan/Program Development, Execution and Reporting

Desired Skills:

- Domain experience in Space Business Areas and an understanding of large-scale Space software systems engineering, development, and integration & test

- Mission Management, Command and Control, Battle Field Management/Command and Control (BMC2) domain understanding

- Life cycle development experience and a strong understanding of ConOps, requirements definition/allocation, architecture definition, interface definition (ICDs), requirements verification approaches, and requirements traceability

- Team focus with emphasis on task definition and completion to meet program schedules and technical readiness expectations, including experience with program-level reviews

- Demonstrated technical project leadership skills and active participation in geographically-dispersed, multi-disciplinary teams

- Experience performing technical performance evaluations, modeling and simulations, and developing performance requirements

- Prior domain-related experience on similar programs

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- DoD TS w/ SSBI within last 6 years
