We strive to be the most trusted and inspirational fabric store in the world, providing a flawless customer experience through passion and continuous innovation.Role Overview:Fabric is looking for a product photographer with a strong portfolio, the ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced digital photo studio, and a passion for creating engaging customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and accomplished working with both video and still photography, have proven success working across all imaging categories, and demonstrate the ability to raise the creative bar through commercially relevant imagery. The ability to work within and across, interdependent teams is necessary, so the right person will have an implicit understanding of the balance needed between artistry, communication, and partnership. This person will bring innovation to high-volume photographic workflows, reducing the operational cost while improving the quality of imagery produced.Responsibilities:* Execute high-quality digital photography for multiple categories used on Amazon and Fabric.com websites* Test and develop aesthetic vision in the areas of lighting, set design, and technical problem solving* Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity* Develops and maintains photography style guides* Continuously improve the studio's workflows and processes* Troubleshoot photography challenges on-set, given knowledge of Fabric's business objectives and visual brand* Use industry experience and expertise to support the expansion of Fabric's photography capability, and the adoption of new technologies* Partner with Warehouse Operations team to support merchandise inventory management and ensure loss prevention* Act as primary subject matter expert on all studio production software and analytical tools* Monitor and uphold extremely high safety and quality standards.* Tacks, reports, and improves metrics related to photo team photo team productivity and error rates* Resource planning* Leads project planning for new initiatives, outlining technical specifications, charters, and timelinesBasic qualifications* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in photography or related field* Professional experience in a commercial photography studio* Expert-level proficiency with the industry-standard software tools, such as Photoshop and Capture One Pro* Proficiency with basic color management practices* Professional photography portfolio that demonstrates a mastery of digital photography, including lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics* Proficient working knowledge of still and moving imaging software for Mac and PC platforms* Accustomed to the high intensity level of an e-commerce studio environment* Strong understanding of commercial studio workflowAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
