Cheshire Medical Center Laboratory Customer Service Rep in Keene, New Hampshire

Serve as a liaison between internal and external customers of the Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth Hitchcock-Keene Laboratory and is responsible for reporting laboratory results using established protocols. Handle all internal and external customer inquiries regarding Lab results, test ordering and specimen collection. Receive and follow-up with complex customer issues by escalating those issues to appropriate staff members. All functions must be performed with confidence, accuracy and in a timely manner using excellent customer service and phone etiquette.

High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-2 years of experience in a secretarial position with public contact required; preferably in a healthcare setting. Medical terminology knowledge required. Strong computer skills including typing and use of Microsoft Office required. Excellent communication skills, ability to handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity and discretion and able to work in a fast paced environment required.
