Autodesk is currently recruiting for an Network Operations Engineer to support a Service Delivery Center in Bangalore, India. Please note this role requires working in rotating shifts with occasional weekend work
The Network Operations Engineer will administer, maintain and support Autodesk s Network infrastructure and related technologies. This includes LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Loadbalancers, SDWAN, SSLVPN
Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems per operations processes, affecting the network infrastructure
Supervising responsibilities including interviewing and training/coaching team members
Participate in team projects and project/technology transition
Identify and resolve chronic issues
Help team to Create RCA whether you have been involved directly or indirectly
Additional duties as required and possible assistance on Special Projects
Day to day operation and maintenance of the customer cloud network, supported by a worldwide robust and flexible level 2 team. Network consists primarily of Arista, Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper SRX, SDWAN CloudGenix, Junos Pulse VPN, Wireless(Cisco/Mist) and F5 devices
Creation of network documentation from the existing infrastructure, planned infrastructure as well as updating existing documentation
Detailed knowledge of the OSI model, routing (OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies(VLAN, STP, etc)
A broad knowledge of networking and network equipment/operating systems with detailed experience with CISCO, Fortigate/Juniper firewalls, SD-WAN devices(CloudGenix), F5 Load balancer, Junos Pulse VPN devices, Cisco and Mist Wireless, AWS Route 53, Transit Gateways, etc.
Advanced troubleshooting skills within a data center or large enterprise network.
Cisco CCNP, Fortigate NSE7, AWS certification, knowledge on python scripting are highly preferable but not required based on previous experience
