What will your average week look like?
You will operate a forklift during routine performance of duties
Unload , receive, inspect, and stage raw materials, scrap, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.
You will removes finished products from the production areas ensuring proper identification, banding, and labeling to meet customer specifications.
You will be responsible for replenishing supplies in assigned areas.
Review warehouse production planning schedule to determine duties for shipping and receiving
Ensures finished goods are properly documented for shipment
You will coordinates processed scrap materials at bins and hoppers, Bands and stores materials, loads trucks as necessary
Conducts inspection of and routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
Conducts inspection of materials used for packaging and inspects trailers and air bags
You will communicates any machine malfunctions
Perform clean-up, painting and housekeeping duties
Follow job safety practices, policies, and procedures for safe performance of assignments
Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear inappropriate areas and follow safety practices
Work a 12 hour rotating shift, it is expected to be 3 on / 3 off. Shifts will rotate from days to nights every 2 weeks.
What are we looking for?
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to learn to identify product defects
Ability to pass an approved forklift test
Preferred working knowledge of the following areas: forklift maintenance and operation; rules and regulations for handling batteries or LP gas tanks; knowledge of nomenclature of assigned equipment
Follow EHS procedures including maintaining compliance to certification requirements and use appropriate PPE for each assigned task; make recommendations to improve ergonomics, health and safety of work
Compensation & Benefits
Hiring Hourly Rate: $19.18 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
