Kelly Services Customer Service Representative in Kansas City, Missouri

Our client is hiring for a global provider of investment and financial services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries. Named to Fortune 1000 list as top U.S. company based on revenue, this company has 20,000+ employees in over 90 offices in 35 countries. Some 18,000 financial services and healthcare organizations, from the world's largest institutions to local firms, manage and account for their investments using this company's products and services.

Representatives will perform client outreach, basic reconciliation, trade control processes, and related reporting. In this role, representatives will evaluate, verify, and process service requests from shareholders, third-party entities, institutions, broker/dealer operations, or client Fund/Stock groups. Representatives’s research, resolves, and/or responds to such queries in either written or oral means.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately evaluate, verify, and process responses from fund sponsors and administrators to update brokerage records for clients.

  • Demonstrate a service-oriented approach. Cross train in different areas to expand knowledge base and to advance skills and proactively offer assistance to other areas when needed.

  • Handle outreach via email and phone to company fund sponsors and administrators to obtain updated position balances and security pricing information. This outreach would also include obtaining trade activity, corporate actions, transfers, dividend posting, and Fair Market Value information for each security.

  • Recommend and initiate corrective action for exceptions and out-of-balance positions or securities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Banking, investment or a financial background preferred.

  • At least one year of previous customer service experience within retail, banking or financial services preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems.

  • Passion for excellence in service and attention to detail.

  • Working hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm
