JPMorgan Chase Reference Data Business Architect, Vice President in Jersey City, New Jersey

The Reference Data Business Architect will partner with the technology teams and multiple businesses across the firm to analyze various use cases and recommend enterprise business solutions that align with the Reference Data Strategy and industry best practices. This role will contribute to laying the foundation of the future state reference data platforms capabilities across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand required functional capabilities, integrating business knowledge and business needs with the reference data capabilities

• Introduces and accelerates new functional services and methodologies to support "Reference Data as a Service" strategy

• Leads the design and modeling of functional business services architectures for delivery, and support of projects

• Leads the design and management of reference data functional architectures

• Partners with technical solution architects to provide scalable and adaptable business solutions

• Develops and maintains standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent reference data services framework is applied across the firm

• Manages and facilitates a review board to evaluate project proposals for business architectural fit

• Partners with technology to design and implement reference data solutions that support the firmwide reference data strategy as well as specific business unit requirements

• Acts as product manager for Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new functional capabilities and services

• Support multiple teams with planning, scoping and creation of functional requirements for the new product capabilities, including testing through to continuous delivery to production

• Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and architecture designs to meet business needs

• Collaborate with project managers and other staff members to develop budgets and timelines for solutions

• Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred. In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, an equivalent amount of experience will be considered.

• Experience building strategic business solutions plans and roadmaps

• Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking, and financial analysis

• Ability to estimate the financial impact of solutions alternatives
