Lutheran Lead Group Facilitator in Jamestown, New York
GA Family Services is seeking Lead Group Facilitator for our Accountability and Responsibility (A&R) Program. This is a full-time opportunity located in the Jamestown area.
The Accountability and Responsibility “A&R” After School Program is an exciting and innovative initiative servicing at risk youth in Chautauqua County who have been identified as needing additional services to prevent out of home placement. The Accountability and Responsibility Program serves as an after school resource focusing on the development of life skills, the creation of individualized change plans and provides a safe, fun and supervised environment to help youth succeed.
Purpose: The Lead Group Facilitator is primarily responsible for serving as the lead facilitator for groups and conducting interviews/counseling follow-up phone sessions for the intervention and participation in the Accountability and Responsibility Program.
Qualifications: Associates degree with at least four (4) years’ experience working with at-risk youth (PINS/JD), experience running groups and supervising staff required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with teenagers in the child welfare system.
