Citigroup IT Business Unit Lead Analyst in Jacksonville, Florida
The IT Business Unit Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Work with key Partners across all disciplines on the scheduling and implementation of Technology Releases
Serve as an escalation point to resolve issues and mitigate risks for Technology Releases that do not meet performance parameters. Engage other Business and Technology leaders as needed to alleviate these concerns.
Work with key Technology and Business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate status reporting of NAM Release activities
Foundational understanding of project management methodologies including the ability to identify and resolve issues and manage risk
Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and supporting processes
Facilitate weekly Risk Review meetings with all levels of the Organization
Gather and conduct analysis of Project status and milestones
Organize and analyze data from multiple sources and create ongoing metrics and analytics
Support Release Implementation activities
Work with Release Management leaders in other Information Technology Lines of Business within GCT to support Cross LOB initiatives and processes
Ensure adherence of IT and Business stakeholders to all IT Processes and Citi Policies
Recommends and oversees process improvements
Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) collectively integrate
Provides in-depth analysis to define problems and develop innovative solutions
6-10 years of experience in a technology planning role.
Advanced level of experience in Release Management
Subject matter expert in at least one area of technology planning.
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
