As a Staff Accountant, you will assist the Controller in various aspects of accounting and reporting. Responsibilities include financial, analytical, statistical and technical accounting tasks applying generally accepted accounting procedures and practices.

Complete all bank reconciliation’s for the Southwest Region.
Follow-up on bank errors, NSF checks, discrepancies and unreconciled items on bank statement.
Reconciliation of major and minor general ledger accounts.
Schedule preparation for monthly workpapers.
Journal entry preparation and input.
Assist with the month end close process.
Assist in month end SoX testing and reviewing accounting controls.
Fixed Asset accounting
Provide backup in the Accounts Payable department.
Provide backup in the Billing Department.
BS degree in accounting.
1 to 3 years related accounting experience preferably in corporate atmosphere.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and accounting modules, specifically G/L, F/A, and Billing.
Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Word, PC experience.
