Growing company in Irvin has a terrific opportunity for a Payroll Clerk with 3+ years’ experience. Candidate must be a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate must be a motivated individual. The candidate must have the following:
The Payroll Clerk should have 3 + years multi-state payroll experience. This position will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for 1500 + multi-state and employees.
The duties and responsibilities listed below describe the essential functions of the job, which include but are not limited to:
Coordinate the payroll and funding process including providing all required reporting to accounting and operations.
Responsible for all aspects of the employee wage garnishment process, including entering, tracking and notification.
Import, process, review, and correct payroll information used to produce the bi-weekly payroll.
Responsible for all aspects of entering employee termination information, including final wage and vacation payout calculations and ensuring compliance with applicable state final pay laws.
Process all employee wage increases, transfers, status changes, and tax withholding requests to ensure accurate payroll records.
Review and process all address changes entered via the employee self-service portal to ensure proper tax withholding.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Proven ability to quickly learn new systems
Proficient in Payroll software
Previous payroll experience
Full Cycle Payroll experience
Strong familiarity with workday
Garnishments experience required
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
