CVS Health Business Systems Analyst, Underwriting Senior Advisor in Irving, Texas

Job Description

Do you want to make a large impact in your next role? Join CVS Health as the Underwriting Business Systems Senior Advisor, where you will be responsible for facilitating, defining and executing business requirements for tools used to support the Underwriting process.

In this high impact, critical position, you will be responsible for supporting updates from conception to implementation, and ensuring that all impacted business units are aware of status during the process. The role will be geared toward supporting requested technology changes that maximize efficiency for business requirements. You will be directly responsible for working with the applicable information services departments (Salesforce Information Technology and Client Financial Analysis and Proposals Business Technology) as the key sign-off for all phases of application development. You will the requirement sign-off, design sign-off, user acceptance testing (facilitation), implementation, roll-out and communication of new functionality.

As an integral member of the team, you will be on the forefront of developing new models to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into requirements to support development of technical solutions

• Project manage intake of business needs and facilitate effective prioritization discussions with departmental leadership

• Support the development and execution of training in partnership with model developers

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of pricing or financial analysis experience required

  • Experience in health insurance, managed care, or prescription drug industry required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior PBM Underwriting and/or health care contracting experience.

  • Existing PBM subject matter expertise.

  • Experience working with IT and Business Requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business preferred

  • Master’s Degree or MBA also preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience may be considered.
