Accurate Background LLC Sales Director, Mid-Market (Remote) in Irvine, California

As a Sales Director at Accurate, you will be a vital driver of new client revenue growth in the employment screening industry. The ideal candidate will bring our sales traction to the next level. This is a “player/coach” role where you will grow and manage a team of 8-12 Enterprise or Mid-Market Account Executives and execute on regional plans, including market mapping of core customers (Enterprise) and identifying the benefits of Accurate’s solutions to solve challenges and ensure success of our prospective customers

  • Act as a player/coach, grow and manage a team of 8-12 Account Executives. 

  • Forecasting sales activity; weekly, monthly and recurring monthly booked and realized revenue achievement

  • Assist individual contributors on sales presentations, discovery calls, and all stages of the sales process when necessary.

  • Consistently achieve revenue targets by applying sales techniques and processes to efficiently manage sales opportunities through your funnel to a successful close.

  • Obtain profitable results by developing the team through motivation, coaching, sales skills training and ongoing development to include product knowledge.

  • Develop business plans covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization’s presence throughout the US and abroad as determined by the company’s growth strategy.

  • Manage key customer relationships post-close when needed and participate in closing strategic opportunities.

  • Drive a culture of accountability and performance and a passion for solving and supporting our prospects and customers

  • Establish and promote positive relations with referral partners.

  • Travel required up to 40% depending on sales team and client needs.

Requirements, Skills, and Education

  • Proven leader with 5+ years of management experience helping individuals and teams meet and exceed goals 5+ years of on-quota, B2B sales experience in a highly competitive market with deep technology-enabled services or SaaS sales experience

  • Successful history of closing business, solution selling to C-suite and over-achieving quota

  • Significant experience selling into large Enterprise level companies, and closing business to hit targets

  • Success driving a proven sales process and improving as necessary 

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and managerial skills

  • Hands-on management of all contacts, leads, pipeline, and follow up actions in SalesForce.com

  • Ability to drive team attainment >$5M in annual new revenue

  • Proven track record in growing and achieving team goals

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to coach sales reps through complex sales engagements

  • A documented and clear history of being a positive team player, contributor, and leader

  • Curious, open-minded, and accountable

  • The heart and fortitude to persevere and thrive in an emerging, disruptive team

  • Ability to coach and retain top-level talent

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited university required.

  • Computer literacy requirements: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, LinkedIn, and Salesforce CRM.
