Robert Half International Customer Service Representative in Inglewood, California
The CSR is responsible for working alongside with the Estimator in processing files. Customer/Insurance/Vendor communications and managing assigned tasks, accounts, reconciliation and billing of files.
Essential Duties include the following:
Assist with and handle incoming phone calls.
Assist with and handle filing as requested according to shop rules and filing system.
Keep customers updated with their vehicles' status and update the system accordingly.
Greet customers and acquire their appropriate information and explain all shop policies.
Properly inspect vehicles and complete prior damage report and ensure all photos are inserted into the system.
Walk around the vehicle and fill up an existing damage sheet and have it signed by the customer.
Inquire about the details of the cause of the damage with the customer.
Ask customer for the Radio Code and put it on file. Ensure the customer that the code will be kept secure.
Based on the existing damage report sheet, recommend additional repairs if possible.
Call the insurance company and notify them of the vehicle location, confirm coverage and ask for inspection of the vehicle.
Make sure customer removes valuable personal items from the vehicle at the time of arrival and understands that Eli's Auto Center will not be responsible for any lost or missing items left in the vehicle.
Discuss the extent of the damage, the repair methodology and the time required to return the vehicle to the customer. Give an approximate delivery date but make sure that the customer understands that the final delivery date can only be given when the insurance company approves the repair and the parts are ordered with an ETA. To speed up the process ask customer to call insurance company also
Review all payment policies with the customer.
All necessary signatures must be acquired at all times.
Requirements - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers
Comprehensive knowledge of Business Development
Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
Supportive, positive attitude with a professional demeanour applied to all tasks
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Demonstrated experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries
Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred
- Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
