Salesforce Coordinator

job summary:

Primary duties and responsibilities:

Assist national office Salesforce users in troubleshooting issues related to creating or sending mass emails, and train users as needed (HTML experience a plus.)

Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues that arise across the office, research solutions, submit cases directly to Salesforce and communicate with our support representatives to find solutions.

Assist with pulling and analyzing email data to build in new efficiencies into our workflow, better target member audiences and reduce unnecessary email to members.

Track undeliverable email and bounces, investigate root causes and propose/implement solutions.

Work with member colleges and universities' IT departments to whitelist company Salesforce emails and re-activate email addresses in the national office's system.

Monitor and manage unsubscribe requests and reactivate accounts when necessary.

Secondary duties and responsibilities

Build and send company emails using pre-existing templates.

Create new templates or adjust existing templates as needed.

Assist power users in creating data extensions (mailing lists) and sender profiles.

Develop new training resources as needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of two years experience working in a corporate environment.

Proficiency in HTML coding.

Ability to understand and communicate complex issues.

Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks under tight deadlines (required)

Must Haves:

Excellent written and verbal communication

Tech Savvy

Previous office experience

Experience with Spreadsheets

Someone who takes initiative and like working on a team in a collaborative environment

Nice to Haves:

Previous customer service experience

HTML coding experience

Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience or experience with another mass email provider
