Job Description:

Our team is seeking an experienced technical manager to join our growing Web team. You will lead frontend and backend developers on large and complex projects with our top tier clients. You will build scalable software and aid in sales estimation & scoping work. You’re eager to explore new technologies and advise our team on industry best practices. All members of the growing Web team will seek your wisdom, advice and mentorship.

The work:

  • Lead development of web projects, including responsive websites, API development and others

  • Lead and mentor more junior team members OR act as a subject matter expert (SME) in a particular technology

  • Provide advisor-level support to multiple projects simultaneously

  • Advise on architecture decisions

  • Work closely with cross-functional team members, including designers, QA engineers and project managers to build excellent products

  • Communicate project plans and scope to clients

  • Lead code and architecture reviews

  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members

  • Participate in Agile/SCRUM SDLC

    For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

    Here’s what you need:

  • 5+ years of experience with modern web development frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, or equivalent)

  • 1+ year experience in solutioning – including estimation, pricing and team structure

  • 1+ year leading software development teams

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience

    Bonus points if:

  • You have strong back end web experience using languages such as NodeJS, Java, .Net/C#, etc

  • Experience in API development within a Microservices/Cloud Serverless architecture

  • Experience with database design and SQL in both relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, CosmosDB, Elasticsearch, etc)

  • You’re experienced working in cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud

  • You have experience developing React Native applications.

  • You have experience with Data Visualization, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality or WebGL.

  • You have previous experience leading development teams of varying sizes and have served as an architect on past projects

  • You are interested in mentoring other developers
