Aerotek Assembler in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description:

Assemblers will assemble a wide variety of products.. most of which will be routine small assembly of mechanical or electromechanical parts. This will include positioning very small parts such as fine pins, wires, solder particles using tweezers or positioning fixtures. Assemblers will also bond or seal parts with epoxies (adhesive) using heating elements (soldering) or overs while performing in-process testing. Essentially candidates will be reviewing uncomplicated schematic drawings to confirm sequence of assembly and putting part together accordingly.

Overall the role is sitting down at a work station and handling and assembling VERY small parts using hands and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

  • Manufacturing OR Production Experience (someone w/o assembly experience is acceptable)

  • Ability to work in close quarters in a team oriented environment. No drama!

  • Ability to work 50+ hours a week and 2+ hours of OT per day (before shift)

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Assembler experience

  • Soldering Experience highly preferred (surface board soldering in a job, not their garage)

  • Soldering experience under a microscope

  • ESD Environment Experience (Electromagnetic Discharge)

DISQUAL:/HOUR. MUST BE PRODUCTION SOLDERING-

  • Attendance Issues

  • If someone can only work 7am-330pm
