As Marketing Director, you’ll be leading our RXBAR brand and responsible for driving brand performance and market share by developing commercial plans that deliver results. In this role, you’ll create the future with us by contributing to longer-term brand and category strategy creation while owning and implementing annual plans. Additionally, this role will be a critical leader in developing the consumer communications strategy to drive brand awareness and support product launches, and partner with sales, category strategy, and finance to generate demand in the market and profitable long-term growth.
This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing for our Natural and Insurgent category.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Deliver the Results - Developing brand strategies based on strong consumer, customer, and market landscape insights. Setting a compelling vision for the future of RXBAR via core health and white space expansion to drive accelerated growth. Enrolling the organization and rallying multi-functional resources to deliver the plans
Strengthen the Organization - Develop the marketing talent on the RXBAR team through Talent Management and enable the team day-to-day through coaching and breaking down barriers. Coach & Develop direct reports and cross-functional team members to effectively execute category and brand strategies
Be Strategic and Analytical – Insights and data-driven capable of contributing at the strategic level and also able to help build at the tactical level. We need this established marketing leader to be consumer-centric and naturally curious with a sense for solving problems that others may not realize exist and to push beyond the status quo.
Create the Future – Shape a growth portfolio for the next 3 plus years and ensure the long-term health of our brands; strong Team Leadership in developing the game plan to grow.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Preferably in Marketing or related field
Strong knowledge of CPG marketing vehicles and marketing fundamentals, particularly high-impact consumer promotions, advertising, and packaging
Strong leadership & communication skills, both written and verbal plus the ability to perceive and present information both analytically and creatively, to all levels of the organization, including executive
Nielsen/IRI/SPINs or similar market analysis database to drive business decisions and generate insights to understand consumer behavior
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and agency partners
Belief in the power of food to make a positive change in people and the world around us
Demonstrated excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation, coaching, leadership, and people management, and development skills
A strong strategic mindset that translates to business results
A track record of creative drive and a passion for nurturing great ideas that cut through the clutter to bring a fresh take to the market
Proven ability to work in a matrix organization to deliver results
Significant FMCG marketing experience in brand and/or innovation
Strong knowledge of insights, ROI, RGM, P&L
Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, a servant mindset, and a passion for winning
