Responsibilities

• Designs and develop high-volume, high-performance, high-availability software and modules (web) with clearly defined functional requirements

• Design and develop reusable libraries and APIs

• Contribute to best practices for Web application development

• Assist in defining the team's technical strategy and advising on product & project delivery roadmaps and migration plans to achieve strategic goals

• Participates in group design discussions and provides concrete input to the design of complete product and project components

• Troubleshoots problems and makes repairs in familiar modules or product components

• Changes need only be periodically reviewed by more senior software engineers prior to submission

• Proficiency in Software Design, Software Development, Software Verification and Validation, Software Configuration Mgt, Software Engineering Tools and Software Quality

• Proficiency in Software Engineering Process, Software Maintenance and upgrading existing software

• Performing scrum master responsibilities like facilitation, addressing any impediments and make sure team is on right path

• Lead a team, review of low-level design and code and ensure optimal software performance

• Research, define, present and recommend software designs and/or alternative strategies

• Working experience in product support and customer interactions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of development experience especially web application development

• Strong hold on HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, AngularJS framework, GIT, Maven and Jenkins

• Java, JCR and J2EE principles

• Must have published at least 1 major React-JS site

• Hand on experience in Redux

• Development experience of UI (layouts, animations, etc.)

• Experience of customizing libraries

• Good understanding of Design and Architecture Patterns

• Strong focus on app performance

• Experience in CMS platform; AEM is preferable

• Proven experience in software development methodologies like Agile and SAFe

• Proven experience in building complex or Single Page web systems

• Advanced ability to detect, analyze, troubleshoot and escalate system and server incidents

• Advanced ability to forecast, recommend, and implement capacity planning
