Parsons is seeking a Test Engineer.
This position requires a highly motivated Cyber analyst/engineer to be part of a team of dedicated professionals in support of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, AL. Primary role is to provide programmatic, technical, and analytical support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director of Test (DT) Cyber Test Directorate test team. Individual will support Cyber Security testing through all phases of its life cycle. Travel will be required.
Parsons is a leader in the world of defense and cyber security. The Cyber Test Analyst / Engineer is responsible for oversight of mission planning and mission execution in developmental environments and on geographically distributed to be fielded operational nodes. Candidate will work with Integrated Cyber Test Team to develop effective communications to facilitate test planning for all weapon systems within the BMDS architecture. Responsibilities also include participation in MDA and prime contractor working groups and peer reviews of system network diagrams; Working communication connectivity solutions for network interfaces to complete all test objectives; Creating Executive level briefings, writing detailed test policy and directives, coordinating with internal and external organizations, provide technical input to test planning and the ability to work independently to complete established goals.
Must have strong writing skills and be able to produce work with stringent and demanding timelines. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in analysis / engineering on a major DOD or similar program, to include: Requirements Definition; CONOPS development, Test Design; Developmental testing and Operational Test execution. Must have working knowledge of the DoD acquisition process. Experience with developing, testing and fielding components of the BMDS networks is highly desired. Individual must be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Bachelor's degree in related technical field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of related professional experience
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
