Our expert capabilities include intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and cyber; secure enterprise IT engineering and operations; military training and simulation; logistics management and integrated product support; and fleet maintenance, modernization, repair and sustainment.Job DescriptionHII-TSD is currently seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the HII-TSD, Apache MODLAB, in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will work as an integral part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) team while supporting the USG owned, contractor operated simulation device, ensuring compliance with all RMF requirements and procedures.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesThe ISSO is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and/or integration of a DOD IA architecture, system, or system component for use within CE (computing environment), NE (network environment), and/or enclave environments.Performs IA-related systems modeling, simulation, and analysisReviews completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients.Plans and directs upgrades of operating systems and designs system enhancements.Performs comprehensive eMASS data analysis and entries.Develops documentation on new or existing systems.Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.Serves as liaison with the customer, participating in IA meetings to ensure customer RMF requirements are metPerforms identification, development, and implementation of the Information Assurance (IA) Controls, to include technical, procedural, and documentation requirements as described in DoD and Army requirements and guidelinesConducts STIG reviews utilizing SCC/SCAP tool and manual checks to monitor MODLAB systems and ensure they are meeting DoD Security standards.Creates and tracks POAandMs, exceptions, and mitigations.Works with security team to address vulnerabilities.Minimum Qualifications8 years with a Bachelors of Arts or Science, 1 year with a Bachelors of Engineering, or 11 years with high school diploma.PossessSecurity (+) certification.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).RecentInformation Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 experience with certifications.Recent eMASS data entry experience.Recent relevant experience in the cyber security or information technology sector.DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) or Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience.Possess appropriate current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification.Experience with security management, network protocols, security architecture, database security and disaster recovery.A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing, client/server programming.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.Preferred RequirementsInformation System Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP).Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.15 years demonstrated recent relevant experience in the cyber security or information technology sector.Five (5) years of DIACAP or RMF experience.Previous experience with process control.Active Secret Security Clearance.Physical RequirementsAdequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.Huntington Ingal
