Amentum Financial/Budget Analyst 2 in Huntsville, Alabama

Job Summary

Amentum is currently searching for a Financial/Budget Analyst 2 to work in our Huntsville, AL office. The Financial/Budget Analyst 2 will be responsible for:

  • Conduct research and prepare financial analyses and forecasts.

  • Generate management tools to effectively control programs.

  • Generate reports documenting findings.

  • Conduct research into procurement practices and assess/implement improvements to, or compliance with acquisition procedures.

  • Prepare computerized programs utilizing commercial software to manage tasks.

  • Participate in cost proposal development.

  • Maintain data base to produce monthly financial reports. Track, process and distribute deliverables and monitor comment status.

  • Reconcile inventory. Prepare necessary corrections to bring inventory back to balance. Prepare entries for inventory lost or damaged, as needed.

  • Reconcile payments received from inventory sales.

  • Prepare revenue and cost accruals.

  • Prepare Estimate At Completion (EAC).

  • Support Billings and cash collection efforts.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.

  • Bachelors degree in Business and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

  • Position may require travel.

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
