JOB DESCRIPTION: Plan and perform pharmaceutical analysis activities with minimum supervision and direction.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Carry out assignments within the department of Quality Control as directed by supervisor. • Perform activities in the development and validation of analytic methods. • Perform analytical testing of raw material, in-process material and finished products. • Perform data analysis and evaluation of test results. • Assist with the preparation of written reports and SOPs. • Maintain accurate records of test data and test procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: • BS in chemistry or related physical / biological science with 1 or more years of pharmaceutical analysis experience preferred. • Computer literacy and ability to use the data acquisition and processing software. • Must be proficient with the operation & maintenance of the various types of analytical instruments and methods such as gas and liquid chromatography, spectrophotometry, dissolution and Karl-Fisher titration. • Knowledge of cGMP and GLP regulations preferred.
