We are seeking a Systems Integration/Implementation Manager, to elevate and deliver Parsons' brand position as a predicative, disruptive solutions provider in the North American utilities market with a major focus on our Grid Armor solution. Our services and products provide public utility solutions centered around the following areas: T&D management, wildfire mitigation, vegetation management, line analysis, facility condition assessments, cyber-security, arc flash, PMO services, inspection services, 3-D visualization, predictive maintenance, and integrated system dashboarding.
In this role, you will be responsible to the operations team for providing leadership, implementation and program oversight for business systems products and services to the public utility and adjacent markets. As a PM, you will be engaged with our software Engineering and GIS teams to implement solutions for North American utilities to ensure business system requirements, schedules and other deliverables are met. You will also be expected to work with our Business Development team to support the strategy, pricing and framework for these IT solutions and help define Parsons' public utility offering as well as expand into adjacent markets to achieve our North American growth objectives.
Key point of contact between BD, Operations, Engineering and IT Solutions Architects in developing the framework and delivering Grid Armor and related solutions to utility customers.
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to plan, direct and coordinate systems integration services and product development and deployment for Utility customers.
Ensure that project goals and objectives are defined and accomplished within the specified time. Review project proposals, budget, resources, plans and procedures to ensure successful completion of projects.
Works with Parsons teams (Solutions Architects, Engineers) and Client to determine the best Software solution, which may include conducting business reviews, documentation of current systems and recommendations of how to proceed with the evolution of existing applications and the implementation of new application systems, mobilization solutions and infrastructure systems.
Identify deficiencies in the strategy, deployment, and engineering methodology relative to the client's needs and takes corrective action to resolve the problem in a timely manner.
Keeps abreast of market and industry trends to identify growth opportunities and staffing requirements for the various markets in order to preposition Parsons for new opportunities.
4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science or associated field of study and 20+ years of related work experience in Systems Implementation for technology products for the Utility market or a BS and Masters and 15 years of experience.
Must have extensive knowledge of NERC CIP, Independent System Operator (ISO), Regional Transmission Organization (RTO) and digital systems used in the Utility industry, such as Energy Management Systems, Distribution Management Systems, Advanced Metering Infrastructure, etc...
An understanding of Cyber Security with applicability into the Utility segment, is preferred.
A strong background in Project Management for the implementation of SaaS projects including translating customer requirements into software solutions is essential for this role.
Ability to work on contracts, develop cost estimates for implementations, and drive efforts from a P&L perspective
Proven ability to understand Utility client's needs and communicate and develop those needs into products/solutions through interaction with engineers/developers/architects is required. Strong technical competencies and skills are required, to solve complex technical situations, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations within the Utility industry are required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong client relationships and interface at all levels within client organizations to present value propositions.
Possess strengths in pre-positioning, proposal development, pricing and assisting in closing sales
