The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending candidates for opportunities.
The Recruitment Coordinator has the following duties:
Able to follow process and communicate the process to hiring managers,
Work with hiring managers to determine necessary skill sets and experience a candidate must possess.
Advertise open positions using a variety of media.
Develop new methods for sourcing candidates with a variety of skill sets.
Execute sourcing strategies and plans focused on passive candidates.
Review and assess candidate resumes submitted for open positions.
Pre-screen and recommend qualified candidates to the hiring manager for review.
Work with hiring managers to attract and hire the best candidates.
Manage on-boarding activities and assist with the steps in the hiring process as required.
Attend job/career fairs and meet with career services.
Develop a network composed of industry professionals.
Stay informed of industry trends and innovative recruiting techniques to attract talent in a competitive market.
Identify opportunities and work to improve the quality and efficiency of the recruitment process and practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Follow all company operating procedures, standards, policies, and training to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site.
Play an active role in the ALS safety program by correcting or reporting unsafe acts and conditions that are observed during day to day operations to create a zero-injury work environment.
Participate in and support HSE initiatives, as required by ALS leadership.

Ensure Quality Systems are adhered to in performance, review, and reporting of laboratory duties and communicate all quality issues.

Bachelor’s degree is required.
4 - 6 years of human resources experience is preferred.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to make effective presentations on controversial or complex topics.
Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.
Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to communicate via telephone and e-mail without assistance.
