Developing global security processes, procedures, policies and systems.
Overseeing implementation of the Security system within NCSA and its application on all NCSA projects
Overseeing the monitoring of security operations in onshore, offshore, joint venture and other non-core partnerships globally
Developing Security Metrics and KPIs
Providing a positive contribution to key business concerns, threat identification and contingency management to minimize impact of potential security events
Auditing/Surveillance of security elements of the Management System
Acting as McDermott liaison with national & International security organizations (such as OSAC)
Identifying elements of security management improvement globally and driving implementation
Implementing area and corporate security reporting
Providing security bid input for all NCSA bids
Managing day to day NCSA security organization and ensuring that manpower requirements are identified and met
Maintaining security mapping across the operational footprint and monitoring current and escalating threats that have the potential to impact company operations
Implementing and overseeing the processes for Global Crisis Management & Business Continuity Process plus Kidnap & Response
Assisting security manpower planning globally to ensure that a diverse population of security experience and capabilities is maintained
Liaising with Functional and operational management to determine security needs and ensuring that they are met
Commissioning additional security services according to the identified needs of the Company
Ensuring that requirements for formal security vulnerability assessments for projects and enterprise facilities are identified and undertaken
Overseeing compliance to IMO & ISPS security requirements globally and that global security documentation is maintained (including protocols for vessel and facilities within port authority locations)
Maintaining oversight for all aspects of maritime security globally covering planning and monitoring of international vessel movements and personnel logistics in order to avoid piracy, terrorism, theft, human trafficking etc.
Ensuring that security assessments are conducted for new market entry
Identifying and implementing any security training requirements globally
Maintaining communication/contact point with relevant Embassies associated with international footprint of operation
Proven ability to communicate and present effectively with Area and Corporate management (both written and verbal)
Wide global technical and managerial experience for both onshore and offshore activities.
Conversant with local and international security laws, regulations and norms for on and offshore operations
Conversant with requirements of major clients in oil and gas
Auditor Qualification/Training to ISO
15 years’ experience in a senior corporate role with at least 10 covering international operations & corporate reporting
Degree/Diploma or equivalent certification in security related subject
Professional membership of relevant security organization(s)
Experienced / Certified in investigation techniques
Knowledge of & experience with OSAC
Knowledge/experience of security aspects of IMO & certified to ISPS Code
Ability to secure necessary security clearances as demanded by position & experienced in risk assessments globally
Experience in auditing, security training, security systems etc.
