  • Assist Relationship Managers with real estate loan closings, including interfacing with the client, title companies, attorneys, appraisers, and other third party vendors and consultants, reviewing loan documentation and gathering necessary documentation required to close a commercial real estate loan including complex credits such as participations and syndications

  • Coordinate the draw process for construction loans, interfacing with the client, Relationship Manager, Construction Engineer, contractors, project managers, construction consultants to ensure timely draw processing

  • Track and maintain a balanced loan budget including the monitoring and tracking of budget line items, change orders and reallocation requests

  • Conduct detailed review of construction draw requests, including the budget, invoices and site observation reports, to determine if the requested amount can be funded based on the loan agreement and the loan budget

  • Monitor specialized loan provisions by tracking documentation requirements to ensure compliance with all loan requirements

  • Monitor escrow or reserve accounts for specific loans and compliance with loan requirements

  • Monitor file exceptions and past dues for all loans in assigned portfolio

  • Assist clients with other banking needs including opening accounts, transferring funds, processing wires and answering questions regarding loan and deposit accounts

  • Submit invoices for payment on behalf of third party vendors

  • Must have at least 7-10 years commercial loan administration experience

  • Must have at least 5 years commercial real estate loan closing and/or funding experience, including construction draw administration and budget tracking

  • Degree preferred, but commensurate work experience will be considered

  • Demonstrated expertise in reviewing and interpreting of all types of loan documentation and lien perfection for attorney prepared documents

  • Working knowledge of commercial loan and deposit systems and prior experience using credit and collateral document exception tracking systems

  • Working knowledge of lending compliance requirements

  • Must be able to interface effectively with executive management, clients, attorneys, title companies, third party consultants and handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Must be able to respond quickly to customer demands, perform multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and superior customer service skills/attitude
