Intel ODM Commercial Manager in Hillsboro, Oregon
This role resides in SSC (Systems Supply Chain) group within GSCO. The role supports NUC Group under CCG by managing several Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) for Intel's hardware products including NUC, Gaming Whitebook and Compute modules.
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will work in conjunction with CCG's NUC-Group, a growing partner in Systems Supply Chain's network of business units to develop and implement sourcing strategies.
As the ODM Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Your primary responsibility would be to lead supplier selections, working across BU functions and SSC Commodity Managers to develop the quotation package (RFP/RFQs) and then developing a recommendation to BU & SSC management.
Developing Supplier Selection Strategies for individual product awards by leading RFP/RFQ activities and negotiations on behalf of the BU.
Your influence would extend to what goes into the product and where that product is sold, as you partner with BU Finance, Marketing, Regulatory and Engineering to set and define Product Requirement Documents, gaining exposure to all functional areas in the BU.
Interact with a wide range of Component Commodity Managers and specialists inside of SSC, serving as the key link in relationships between the BU and external suppliers.
Set larger Sourcing Strategies, ensuring the BU is partnering with the right ODMs and Suppliers as well as leading Quarterly Business Reviews.
Frequent presentations to BU and SSC Management as well as continuous interactions with its staff to ensure One Intel mindset across the BU and SSC.
Work closely with the ODM partners, serving as the initial escalation point when issues arrive during both product development and HVM production. The ability to convey information over email and phone are critical skills as well as the BU and SSC is split primarily between two sites.
Negotiation of Master Purchase Agreements, leading efforts for cost reduction, both through the BOM as well as throughout the supply chain product lifecycle from concept to end of life, as well as driving Environmental Social Governance (ESG) performance and ensuring the supply chain is robust through Business Continuity Planning.
Work with diverse global, cross-functional, internal and external teams and stake holders.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
The candidate must possess at least one of the following degrees plus the years of experience determined for each degree in the areas specified below
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain or a related field of study.
7+ years of relevant experience in:
Commercial and Supply Chain areas
Demonstrated leadership and experience in driving complex business transactions from deal concept and negotiations to contract closure and supply ramp.
Strong collaboration skills with engineering, IP, product development and contract manufacturing elements.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Outsourcing and supply chain, component suppliers, and Electronic Manufacturing Systems assembly.
