Job Information Account Manager in Hilliard, Ohio

DESCRIPTION: ARES Sportswear, one of the nation's largest outfitters of team and business apparel, is looking to add three national account managers. Our account management position is a hybrid of customer service and sales. The position works directly with sport coaches and other purchasers of team and business apparel. The Account manager is responsible for all teams at a school. Leads are inbound and developed through a digital marketing platform with social media emphasis and sophisticated targeted email advertisements We are looking for a person that is above all else focused on our customer and believes that the best way to grow sales is through providing a high level of customer service. A sense of urgency to follow up on customer inquires is necessary as well as the ability to write up detailed work orders. You will be measured on service levels, existing and new account growth and retention rates within your account base. You can review compensation and fill out application here: REQUIREMENTS: *Manages assigned accounts including solving problems and anticipating issues *Performs routine inquiries with customers and leads. *Secures and places orders, taking into consideration production time / feasibility, delivery dates, and inventory levels forfulfillment *Collaborates with marketing to produce successful campaigns. *Generates referrals and identifies opportunities to expand relationships *Timely follow up on sales leads,emailand phone calls * COMPETENCIES *Organized and detail oriented with exceptional time management *Must communicate effectively, both oral and written *Ability to multi-task and be adaptable to conflicting priorities *Computer literate and working knowledge of Office Suite products *Ease in managing many customer relationships via phone * WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones and copy machines. ?On occasion, the position does require travel. Travel is primarily local during the business day as required in providing exceptional service to key customers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *Self-starter with experience taking initiatives *Bachelor's degree is preferred *Sports or marketing experience and interest in sports apparel is preferred *Experience in CRM platforms like Sales Force and MRP systems is preferred, but not required
