Director CtC Merchandising Assortment Planning (m/f/d
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
To build a world-class cross-channel range management/ merchandising function for BU within the overall adidas brand range architecture framework.
To drive understandingof channel space realitiesand drive merchandising plans for BU across categories.
Drive segmented concept merchandising packages for relevant distribution channels, with consideration of brand priorities, consumer and market insights, and space/ capacity realities
Drive the BU range architecture and commercial price build in close collaboration with creation teams
Drive Brand Footprint packages from BU in collaboration with CtC Range Architecture/Global Merchandising teams
Support relevant cross-category alignment of concepts that include Core offers with a balanced perspective between brand and commercial interests. Ensure implementation across markets and channels in collaboration with KA and CtC
Monitor sell-in and sell-out of BU packages on a continued basis and feed back to creation teams to help improve Global Brand ID, profitability and efficiency as well as the BU KPI’s
Review markets’ ranges and drive optimization with Market BU Heads and teams
Manage and develop team of dedicated BU merchandisers, with an ongoing focus on optimizing range building and merchandising skillsets and toolkit
Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure full impact of Merchandising strategy

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong analytical skills
Structured, organized and process orientated
Attention to detail as error in analysis will have crucial impact to business
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
High influencing skills and ability to make fact based decisions
Fluent in English
Additional languages are an advantage
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalentprofessional experience
Merchandising experience: 8-12 years
Management experience: 5 years
