Central Research Procurement Technician II in Herndon, Virginia

Central Research, Inc. is actively seeking multiple Procurement Technician IIs for immediate hire to work on-site with our Federal client in Herndon, VA!

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide acquisition support to government client using standard business office software programs and office equipment.

  • Provide administrative and clerical support in the preparation of pre-solicitation documentation, draft contract modifications, draft requests for proposals, and in conducting market research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED plus 4 years of experience providing acquisition support in the preparation of: pre-solicitation documentation, draft contract modifications, draft requests for proposals, and in conducting market research, OR,

  • Associates degree plus 2 years providing acquisition support in the preparation of: pre-solicitation documentation, draft contract modifications, draft requests for proposals, and conducting market research.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge and essential skills in standard business office software programs and office equipment administrative and clerical duties in ability to provide acquisition support in the preparation of: pre-solicitation documentation, draft contract modifications, draft requests for proposals, and in conducting market research.

  • Familiarity with business practices and market conditions sufficient to evaluate vendor completion is required.

  • Ability to communicate and present factual information, compose memoranda and meeting minutes, and draft contract provisions and supporting documents is also required.
