We are now accepting applications for our Assistant Branch Manager position located at our Warm Springs branch in Henderson, NV.

Work schedule can vary Monday through Friday.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Manage the branch and achieve the strategic goals of the branch in coordination with the Branch Manager.

  • Perform, or make recommendations that carry particular weight, including within the following management tasks: interviewing, selecting, hiring, advancement, and termination of employees.

  • Be responsible for training, coaching, and mentoring employees, especially regarding the referral and sale of bank products and services.

  • Resolve client service issues and respond to more complex client complaints and questions; schedules and sets hours of work and directs the work of employees.

  • Maintain production or sales records for use in supervision or control of employees; appraises employee productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in employee status.

  • Handle employee complaints and grievances; disciplines employees; plans the work of employees; determines the techniques to be used by employees; apportions the work; provides for the safety and security of employees and company property; monitors or implements legal compliance measures.

  • Keep the branch in compliance with all bank policies and procedures; approves teller transactions as needed; and prepares the branch for audits.

  • Provide sales leadership, through their own production, as well as the oversight sales and services tasks; and works closely with key partners to achieve sales and service objectives and maintain operational integrity.

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment regularly, including the comparison and evaluation of possible courses of conduct, and to act or make a decision after the various possibilities have been considered, free from immediate direction or supervision but ultimately responsible to the branch manager. This discretion includes the authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices; to commit the branch in matters that have significant financial impact; to waive or deviate from established policies and procedures without prior approval; to negotiate and bind the branch on significant matters; to provide consultation or expert advice to other management; to be involved in planning long- or short-term business objectives; to investigate and resolve matters of significance on behalf of management; to hire and fire the branch personnel that they manage; and to represent the branch in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances.

  • Process cash transactions and perform other customer service duties within the branch as needed, and has the discretion and authority to determine when to perform these additional roles.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.
