Aerotek Specimen Processor in Henderson, North Carolina

IMMEDIATE HIRE FOR SPECIMEN PROCESSOR - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Responsibilities:

  1. Receives and processes clinical specimens ensuring accurate patient and specimen identification.

  2. Performs special handling and sorting of specimens.

  3. Ensures requisition orders are completed correctly and completely.

  4. Accurately labels specimens and requisitions.

  5. Troubleshoot and resolves problem samples/accessioning issues.

  6. Follows all protocols of quality and accuracy, as well as production goals.

  7. Keeps work areas clean and organized for safe, accurate and efficient operations.

Experience:

Prior laboratory or data entry experience is preferred but not required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  1. Strong communication, team participation and organizational skills

  2. Proficient computer skills, including typing accurately at 35 wpm

  3. Highly detail oriented

  4. Self-motivated and positive attitude
