With the Director, assumes 24-hour accountability for the direction and management of patient care within assigned area. Assists Director in the management of material, financial and human resources within theMinimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate degree in nursing or a health care related field. Individuals selected for this position who do not hold a baccalaureate degree are required to actively pursue and complete the same.Demonstrates proficiency in directing and guiding personnel. Demonstrates initiative and is able to function independently as well as interdependently. Demonstrates the ability to initiate, accept and adapt to change. Demonstrates time management and organizational skills. Accepts and recognizes differences among people.Preferred Qualifications: Minimum three years experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital settingLicensure and Certifications: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure. Current BLS Health Care Provider.ACLS#LI-ML1Influenza vaccination is required at most LVHN facilities for all colleagues with patient contact unless medically contraindicated or due to a bona fide religious belief or practice, and is strongly encouraged for all colleagues.
