Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Supply Chain Materials Management Analyst . This position will be located in Hazelwood , MO.

This position will work extensively within the Material Resource Planning/ Enterprise Resource Planning (MRP/ERP) Compass Contract along with other associated Shop Floor Execution Systems such as Tool Module Information System (TMIS), Crib Master, ARIBA, and Common Metrology Information System (CMIS) in support of the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft and management of tool Cribs and associated disciplines.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies Supply Chain Methodologies to ensure coordination and Assurance of Supply thru the Supply Chain.

  • Works closely with other adjacent internal organizations such as Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, IEs, Supplier Management, and 3PL / 4PL warehousing.

  • Understands MRP requirements of Supply and Demand in support of releasing and maintaining work orders.

  • Reports on schedule adherence issues and coordinates and supports process improvements.

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain.

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers. Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan.

  • Coordinates part number attributes. Verifies the released engineering Bills of Material (BOM) has been correctly implemented in the material planning system.

  • Releases and maintains orders.

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies.

  • Provides Tool Crib analysis, support and management.

  • Provides analytical support of consumables in support of production.

  • Reports schedule adherence issues.

  • Applies developed solutions to inventory plans.

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories.

  • Creates schedules for products and services.

  • Coordinates and supports process improvements.

  • Uses strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills and works well with teammates to resolve all work order issues, delinquencies and required data cleanup.

  • Be a self-starter and works well with general supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position is for 1st shift however, must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Inventory Management.

  • Experience with Processes related to managing Tool Cribs and systems analysis.

  • Experience in Materials Management Analysis or Supply Chain Management Analysis.

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

  • Experience in a team-based environment.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associates Degree) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, or 7 years' related work experience in Supply Chain Management, etc.)
