Job Summary:
The Coreworks Resource Manger is responsible for the overall management of but not limited to Housekeeping, Environmental Services, and Maintenance for one or multiple sites. You are expected to conduct activities that utilize the principle of team empowerment, as well as developing the partnership between the client and the Company. Resource Managers typically work five 10 hour shifts days each week or 50 hours per week also weekend and holiday rotations. As travel is usually required it may be a 10 shifts on and 4 shifts off rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintains an environment that is in sanitary, attractive and in orderly condition
Develops, recommends, and guides implementation of new and/or modified programs, services, policies and/or procedures
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions and activities of the department
Conducts regular management staff meetings and communicates with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities
Maintains excellent relations with residents, Client and all community departments
Serves on community committees and professional organizations
Ensures that competency in the position is maintained by participating in Community Works and outside training programs, as required

Follows all Client and community policies and procedures
Promotes the professional growth and development of the entire team and the department employees at all times
Maintains appropriate security for all Client-owned property, supplies and operating funds
Manages and ensures compliance with the State Health Department, NFPA, CMS, EPA, DEP, ADA, UST, and other regulatory business appointments
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification highly desirable
Minimum of five years of EVS/Housekeeping experience or engineering, maintenance in a retirement or adult home preferred
Excellent customer services skills and experiences
Experience with Federal & State healthcare surveys highly desirable
Experience with P&L accountability highly desirable
Contract-managed service experience is desirable

Proficiency in CMMS Systems, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Scheduling may require 10 day on and 4 day off scheduling this will be determined by support needs and transition of business.
* Must have a valid driver’s license
* This position requires extensive travel 70%-80%
* Must have the ability to pay for travel expenses that will be reimbursed.
