CVS Health Learning & Performance Supervisor - Work from Home in Hartford, Connecticut

Job Description

CVS Health is on a mission to transform healthcare. The Learning and Performance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a staff of Learning and Performance Professionals to oversee the delivery and evaluation of state-of-the-art training tools and programs to equip employees and other related audiences to achieve superior levels of quality, service and business results within the Medicare Member Service Organization.Responsibilities of the role include:- Providing leadership and management to a group of Learning and Performance Professionals in same or related discipline; achieving or exceeding all Aetna’s expectations for leaders. - Participating in the implementation of the department's training strategy to supports the achievement of Aetna's mission and business performance goals and align with Aetna's national learning strategy.- Ensuring that Aetna's strategic messages are appropriately imbedded in training tools and programs.- Utilizing a variety of educational media to ensure the right training is available to support the specific needs of multiple and diverse audiences within area(s) of accountability.- Managing the delivery of performance-based training for designated audience.- Participating in the design, development and evaluation of effectiveness and return on value of training programs.- Ensuring compliance with all Aetna learning standards and policies (e.g., vendor management, learning management, instructional design and user interface standards etc.).- Collaborating with other corporate and functional training areas for impact and integration of efforts.- Simultaneously participating on and/or lead multiple project teams.- Communicating regularly with local/regional/national training design and development staff to influence the design of program content and provide feedback on program effectiveness.- Incorporating feedback gathered from participants and other relevant audiences to improve training, processes and products.- Ensuring that the unit effectively manages curriculum, delivery, reporting and other relevant administrative requirements through the Aetna Learning Center.- Exhibiting behaviors outlined in Training Supervisor SkillsPlease note you must live in the states listed in the posting in order to qualify

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of learning and leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership/management experience - Solid knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational media.- Experience with Quickbase


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.- Bachelor's degree preferred
