CVS Health Bus Project Program Mgr in Hartford, Connecticut
This is a dynamic position on the Care Management System Enablement Team supporting the migration and enablement of Care Management programs onto Aetna's Next Generation clinical applications. This individual will support strategic direction set for the team and manage complex projects and or programs (e.g., national in scope, multi-segment) on behalf of business stakeholders by acting as a liaison with Information Technology (IT) and Business Operations, seeing the strategy through to implementation. This individual influences all stake holders to support key projects/programs to ensure business requirements are translated into system capabilities for positive outcomes that deliver on results. Drives change to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or systems/quality/services (e.g., policies, processes, or systems). Manages and oversees all facets of projects including objective setting, planning, consultation with business stakeholders, progress tracking, implementation, status updates and communication, etc. Employs project management disciplines and methodologies to drives process improvement activities and initiatives. Communicates project objectives, prioritizes, coordinates efforts, negotiates resources and time to ensure end-state projects are delivered timely and meet the business objective(s). Applies critical thinking to identify, develop and vet win-win solutions in collaboration with business partners. Exhibits flexibility to adjust to tight deadlines and changing project requirements. Prepares documentation to support all phases of projects (planning, tracking, communications, etc.).
10+ years Managed Healthcare/Insurance industry experience related to Clinical Programs/Leadership. The role will require collaboration with cross project teams and systems architects and analysis to ensure a successful implementation. Program/project management experience and system implementations. Work closely with the different levels within the organization (clinical operations management to front line staff) to understand as well as provide an overview of the projects that are either being defined, designed and underway or being implemented. Comfortable discussing issues with all levels of Leadership, good business acumen. Able to perform discovery and design for Clinical programs and other partners to document/define business requirements. Accurately translate business requirements to appropriate technical and configuration teams.
Experience related to the Clinical Programs (e.g., Utilization Management) a plus.Familiarity with Agile project methodology a plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
