MacuLogix Associate Product Manager in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Company: MacuLogix, Inc. is a medical device company based in Harrisburg, PA. Through its AdaptDx dark adaptation biomarker, MacuLogix enables eye care professionals to detect, monitor and treat AMD three years before it can be seen clinically.

Current Need: We are seeking an Associate Product Manager (APM) to participate in the creation of demand for current and future products across the product lifecycle. The APM will work with the Sales, Research and Development, and Quality Assurance teams to improve product features based on the voice of customer research. They will also develop go-to-market strategies for new product features, working with the marketing team for branding, messaging, pricing, distribution channels, and customer communication. As a member of a small team, the APM will have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders across the organization to make a tangible impact on a growing business.


  • Participate in key product marketing decisions (e.g. packaging, creative strategy, pricing, feature prioritization, etc.).

  • Work with Marketing, R&D, Professional Relations, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Finance teams to develop and execute a product marketing strategy.

  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives through the coordination of tasks and deliverables of various team members throughout the organization.

  • Inform new product requirements with data that represents key market analysis, consumer insights, and business rationale that supports company strategy.

  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing "voice of customer" data and driving the implementation of customer feedback into product design and improvement.

  • Firmly understand the needs of customers and provide ongoing prioritization of features upgrades, software updates, and product improvements accordingly.

  • Analyze pricing structure to define and quantify the unique value proposition.

  • Manage external agencies, internal resources, and budget to develop marketing campaigns and assets to support product marketing strategies.

  • Prepare product information documents, technical guides, and other marketing materials.

  • Provide technical expertise and training to other departments in support of new product features.

  • Support enablement of our US sales team and global sales team to help them effectively articulate and position the value of our solutions to increase win rates.


  • Previous work experience as an Associate Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager or similar role

  • Medical Device and Ophthalmic experience a plus

  • Excellent project management and presentation skills are essential

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications, including Microsoft Project

  • Proven ability to develop strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask the difficult questions

  • BS in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or similar field
