Responsible for auditing of all requisition forms and fills for accuracy and performing other administrative duties related to food, beverage and general supplies inventory.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

  • Interview & Train all new hires. Ensure all paperwork is completed for appropriate System credentials

  • Input of daily receipts and issues of all items into the purchasing and inventory software.

  • Verifying the accuracy of receipts, transfers and requisitions, returns, including inventory adjustments

  • Complete monthly inventories and manage daily cycle counts with your team.

  • Maintaining accuracy of item set up in the inventory system, including setting bin locations for inventory items and setting up bar codes for all new products. Verify all products are in the correct physical location in the Warehouse

  • Ensure all inventory requisitions are filled out correctly with all appropriate signatures required.

  • Research all issues involved with Inventory discrepancies and paperwork

  • Ensure the safety and security of company information.

  • Communicate any and all issues/concerns with the Director of Purchasing & Warehouse

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)

  • Ability to read and follow routine instructions.

  • Ability to operate basic office equipment.

  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.

  • Strong Math, analytical & counting skills.

  • Ability to communicate with all departments efficiently

  • Basic PC knowledge with a focus on data entry

  • Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface with various departments

.Educational Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Inventory control & related warehouse experience preferred.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland Lottery Gaming & Control Agency for the position.

    Physical Requirements

  • Able to sit for long periods of time and ability to perform moderate lifting of 30 lbs. or more.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift and reach.

  • Ability to work long and varied hours and on shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed.

  • Must be able to read, speak and effectively communicate ideas in English.

  • Must be able to think analytically, have basic math skills and be able to read and interpret spreadsheets.

  • Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations.

  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.

  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
