The Leidos Intelligence Group as a career opportunity for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Hanover, MD. The candidate will be responsible for security architecture and systems engineering supporting multiple Identity, Access, and Credential (ICAM) projects. ISSO tasks include:
Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs).Work with ISSM and DAOs to ensure systems obtain and maintain accreditation.Apply continuous monitoring techniques to evaluate the systems security postureCreate tasking for developers and system administrators as changes and patching are required.Ensure security policies, practices, and procedures are implemented.Track Plans of Actions and Milestones(POA&M)Review Audit LogsPerform Data transfers. Qualifications
TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines.
5 years Security Engineering experience
An additional 4+ years of Security Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 9 years.
Ability to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to management and other stakeholders.
The ICD 503/NIST 800-53 certification and accreditation processRisk Management Framework Developing and maintaining SSPs IAVA review and handling Interpreting Security Scan resultsInterfacing with System Administrators and Software Engineers Task tracking systems (e.g. Jira, Redmine, ServiceNow)Understanding of:
