MAG Aerospace Acquisition Specialist for Electronic Warfare in Hanover, Maryland
Acquisition Specialist Opportunity! In support of Program Manager Electronic Warfare & Cyber, the Acquisition Specialist will participate in the formulation, justification, and execution of contracts and acquisition documentation. This is for an awarded contract with immediate staffing requirements.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Plan and develop documentation for contract actions, milestone decisions, and reviews
Assist in developing obligation plans, P&R Forms, Weapon System Reviews, and Program Objective Memoranda
Provide advice for program/budget scheduling and planning, including preparing recommendations for program objectives, operating schedules, and resource requirements
Assist government clients in managing contract actions, contract strategy planning, and coordinating contracting schedules
Development of Acquisition Requirements Package (ARP) / Request for Services Contract Approval (RSCA) documentation for future contracts, Task Orders, Delivery Orders and Other Transactional Authority (OTA) as well as supporting Justifications/Approvals (J&As) package development
Coordinate schedules/timeline requirements with the PM, PEO and ACC to ensure future contract actions will be awarded in time to support Program requirements
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
The required skills and knowledge include:
US Citizenship and Possess TS/SCI Clearance.
Progressive experience in the DoD 5000 acquisition process, supporting the development and implementation of contracts and all acquisition related documentation
Knowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of federal contracting and the DoD 5000 acquisition process
Familiarity with the Procurement Planning Management Tool (PPMT), contract documentation requirements, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) as well as service focused contracts, Other Transactional Authority (OTA) contract vehicles and experience with Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE)
The minimum years of related experience required: 8
Education
The minimum level of education required is:
BS in Business or IT. 4 years of additional experience can be considered for equivalency
Desired Requirements
The desired skills, knowledge, and education include:
Experience as government or SETA within a program management office for the acquisition of EW or other tactical C4ISR programs
Excellent interpersonal skills, to including the ability to work on multi-functional teams

Physical requirements for the job include: The ability to work within an office environment.
